One Sixty Glass is a public access glass blowing facility located in the heart of Williamsburg Brooklyn. The studio offers glassblowing classes and workshops for beginners up to experienced glassmakers. One Sixty Glass is also available for rental to other glass artists to create their own artwork from molten glass. The studio also specializes in custom glass and commission projects for various artists, designers and architects across the country. John Pomp and Michiko Sakano founded One Sixty Glass as place for glassmakers and creative people alike to share and enjoy the centuries old practice of glassmaking. The newest addition to the studio is John Pomp Glass, of which all proceeds will be reinvested into the educational programs at One Sixty Glass. The studio is currently working on its “not for profit” status. One Sixty Glass is located three blocks from the Bedford Street stop on the L train in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The studio is open Monday through Sunday 10am - 6pm.
