How to Make an Apple Bong in Easy Steps

If you are looking for a simple and fun way to enjoy your herb or tobacco, you might want to try making an apple bong. An apple bong is a homemade pipe that uses an apple as the main component. Apples are easy to find, cheap, and biodegradable, making them ideal for a DIY project. Plus, they add a fruity flavor to your smoke.

There are different ways to make an apple bong, but the basic principle is the same: you need to create a bowl, a mouthpiece, and a carb hole on the apple, and connect them with tunnels that allow the smoke to travel from the bowl to your mouth. You can use a pen, a knife, a spoon, or any other sharp object to poke holes on the apple. Here are two methods you can follow to make your own apple bong.

Method 1: Making an Apple Bong Using a Pen

This method is quick and easy, and only requires an apple and a pen. Here are the steps:

  1. Get a fresh apple and a pen. Make sure the pen has a tip that can unscrew and remove the ink well. You don’t want to spill ink on your apple or your herb.
  2. Remove the stem from the apple. You can use your fingers or a knife to do this. Make sure you get the entire stem out.
  3. Bore a hole through the top of the apple using the pen’s tip. Place the tip over the hole where the stem used to be and push it into the apple at a slight angle. Stop when you reach about halfway through the apple. This hole will serve as the bowl.
  4. Bore a second hole near the bottom of the apple using the pen’s tip. This hole should be about half an inch from the base of the apple. Push it into the apple until it meets up with the first hole. This hole will serve as the mouthpiece.
  5. Bore a third hole on the side of the apple using the pen’s tip. This hole should be about an inch or more from the top hole, and in a convenient place to cover with your finger. Push it into the apple until it meets up with the chamber system you have created. This hole will serve as the carb.
  6. Carve out some of the apple flesh from the top hole using the pen or another object. This will create a larger bowl for your herb or tobacco.
  7. Fill the bowl with your herb or tobacco of choice and light it up. Cover the carb hole with your finger and inhale from the mouthpiece. When you are ready to clear the smoke, release your finger from the carb hole and inhale again.

Method 2: Making a Hollowed-Out Apple Bong

This method is more elaborate and requires an apple, a knife, and a spoon. Here are the steps:

  1. Cut off about an inch from the top of the apple using a sharp knife. Slide off the top and remove the stem. Do not cut too close to the stem because you will need to use the top as a bowl.
  2. Use a spoon to scoop out some of the apple flesh from inside, leaving about half an inch of thickness around the edges. Be careful not to puncture or crack the apple skin.
  3. Poke a hole through one side of the apple using a pen or another object. This hole should be near the bottom of the apple and connect to the hollowed-out chamber inside. This hole will serve as the mouthpiece.
  4. Poke another hole through another side of the apple using a pen or another object. This hole should be near the top of the apple and connect to the hollowed-out chamber inside. This hole will serve as the carb.
  5. Place some aluminum foil over the top of the apple and poke some small holes on it using a needle or another object. This will create a screen for your bowl.
  6. Fill the bowl with your herb or tobacco of choice and light it up. Cover
the carb hole with your finger and inhale from
    the mouthpiece.
    When you are ready
    to clear
    the smoke,
    release
    your finger
    from
    the carb
    hole
    and inhale
    again.

Enjoy your homemade apple bong!
